About us...

Christina & Michael started the arachnid hobby together back in 2014 to help overcome Christina's arachnophobia. Our very first tarantula was an Avicularia metallica (now known as Avicularia avicularia, Morphotype 6), so that species holds a special place in my heart (pictured in photo).

We started dabbling in tarantula breeding in 2018 and produced our first successful sac of Neoholothele incei. We found that we really enjoyed that aspect of the hobby and how rewarding it was. During the Covid shutdown of 2020 when most the of world was working from home, we decided to make our hobby a business.

 

After years of keeping and breeding numerous species, we both have a greater understanding and appreciation for these fascinating creatures and want to share that love and knowledge with our customers.

 

We primarily specialize in tarantulas, true spiders, and scorpions.

 

FREEBIES: We often include a freebie tarantula for orders over $150 (not including shipping). If you only order new world species, a new world tarantula will be included. If you order old world species, either a new or old world freebie could be included. ​If you prefer not to receive a freebie, just make a note in your order! We usually send species we produced in-house, but can give customers the option to choose what species they receive if requested.
